Regional history of the 19th and 20th century – status quo and perspectives

The academic conference celebrates the 25th anniversary of the District Archives of the Hochtaunus region (DE). Topics to be discussed during this conference centre around the aspects of social functions, intentions and impacts that history writing makes – especially the regional history of the 19th and 20th century. How is history created? How, under what circumstances and by whom is history being written? These any many more questions will be open for discussion.
